Join Heather Keith of Scotty Hill Ceramics in The Classroom for this hands-on class, to learn the fundamentals of Nerikomi  Pottery Making. Nerikomi is a traditional Japanese ceramics technique that involves layering and folding colored porcelain clays to create intricate patterns within the structure of the piece. This process celebrates both precision and the beautiful spontaneity that occurs when different clays merge. 

The class is approximately 2 hours long and will include everything you need to participate. You will hand-build two unique individual pieces of your own.  After class, your finished creations will be professionally fired and glazed for you and will be available in approximately two weeks for pickup at Noted.  

Things to know:

• You will make your own custom piece of heirloom quality pottery, created by you! Your piece will need to be picked up at Noted on a later date, to be provided.

• We offer complimentary beverages, these events are not byob.

• Tickets are not refundable or transferable. It's like buying tickets to a concert, the show goes on whether you are there or not. Sorry!

• Class is at Noted. Is 1 Whiting Street, Hingham, We have ample onsite parking and we're located right next to Scarlet Oak Tavern which is perfect for pre/post class food and drinks.
