Join Jenna Reedy of Fish Prints by Jenna in The Classroom at Noted for a Gyotaku‑Inspired Fish Prints Class. This modern, acrylic‑based approach is inspired by the traditional Japanese art of Gyotaku. The Gyotaku‑Inspired Fish Prints class is about 2 hours and will include everything you need to participate and you will leave with multiple finished fish prints.

In this hands‑on introductory class, you’ll learn a modern, acrylic‑based approach to gyotaku — the Japanese art of fish printing. Participants will paint, press, and pull their own fish prints using real fish and a colorful palette. The goal is for everyone to leave with 1-2 prints that can then be framed.

Classgoers will be working with a mix of fish that are 6 - 28 inches long.
Wear clothes that can get messy! Aprons and gloves are provided, if needed, but sometimes when making art its more fun to just let the mess happen!
