The candle: The Citronella-inspired fragrance has top notes of warm lemongrass and fresh lemon peel, mid-notes of eucalyptus and smooth powdery undertones. As always this candle is non-toxic with phthalate free fragrance and 100% clean-burning soy wax, repels insects outdoors, and the wooden wicks softly crackles as they burn. Note: citronella should only be burned outdoors as it can be an irritant for some people and requires proper ventilation for a safe experience.
The vessel: The newest vessel in our collection is polished and triple sealed concrete, handmade by a US based artisan. They feature a modern, seamless design, butter-soft texture, and come in three neutral colors designed for any space. The simple lid is perfect for keeping your candle dry outdoors and keeping out debris. This vessel can be refilled as a candle from our South Boston Studio, or reused as the perfect planter!

Home is your safe place and we want to help you keep it that way. We carefully select high quality materials that adhere to strict safety standards and are always looking for ways to make our products even safer. Our candles are made from 100% soy wax derived from soy grown on US farms. Our fragrances are a blend of essential and other perfume grade fragrances in skin safe base oil. They are phthalate-free, and Prop 65 compliant.
We use wooden wicks that are naturally processed without additives, and sourced from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified mills in the United States.
A soft crackling sound may occur from our wooden wicks. Wooden wicks need to be kept very short to ensure proper functioning of the candle. If the wick will not stay lit, trim it down and try again.

Tips from the chandler: Trim wick to about ¼ inch before each and every burn to prevent soot buildup around glass. Do not burn more than 4 hours at a time to ensure you control the temperature of the melt pool which helps your candles last longer and burn more safely. Cover your candle after each burn to prevent dust and other air pollutants from settling on the surface, never burn a candle with any debris on the surface. Always keep an eye on a lit candle and keep out of reach away from little ones.
