I love the idea of creating these Traveling Keepsake Boxes that seamlessly blend in with the design of a room. I have been looking for a way to display various momentums and tchotchkes I have collected during my travels, without creating additional clutter or storing in archaic photo albums.
A few weekends ago, Noted traveled to Long Lake, ME! I highly recommend for some R&R with girlfriends. After spending the day lounging by the lake, we noshed on lobby rolls and fried clams from Naples Lobster Pound in Naples, ME.
Gorgeous succulents from Sunny Florists on West Broadway. I plan to check out their design classes for a fun BYOB night with friends.
There comes a time when we must leave some things behind in order to keep moving forward. One of our originals, Sea Salt Gardenia, will soon be entering blissful retirement until further notice. The good news? 50% off all sizes. The better news? More room for future scents and product launches (hint!).
Summer may not be the best time to indulge in a Netflix-binge sesh but for those who are stuck inside during a mid-day rainstorm or need a much-needed break from the heat, I highly recommend checking out Stranger Things on Netflix. I am certainly not a sci-fi fan, but this mystery/thriller series held my attention long enough to finish the first season within 24 hours. Stranger Things gives off a quintessential 80’s John Hughes vibe, mixed with The Goonies spirit of adventure and an X-Files sense of mystery.
Winona Ryder is a stand out star in her first Netflix original show. Growing up in the late 90’s/00’s with a profound interest in celebrity ‘reality’, I can only recall the award-winning actress for her infamous shoplifting scandal. After watching Ryder’s incredibly harrowing portrayal of a mother whose son has mysteriously disappeared, I immediately starting queuing up the actor’s other works, pre-theft incident. The season finale leaves plenty of questions to carry it into a just-announced renewal for season two.
Until next time,
